Plans for the relaunch of the Leaping Salmon have been given the go-ahead, subject to a list of conditions.
Among other things, the Dartmoor National Park Authority requires that :
* Guest rooms are not used for long-term lets – no more than 28 days allowed for any guests in a year.
* All “groundworks” to be monitored by an approved archaeologist, working to an agreed plan and reporting all findings to the DNPA.
* No sitting out on the new flat roof at the back.
