Tomorrow (Sat July 7) is the day of the Combined Services Hog Roast outside the London Inn. Also a street entertainments festival in Tavistock, organised by Tavistock Edge, arts organisers.

Bit of a do in Tavi again next weekend, Sat July 14, when the Butchers Hall re-opens as an extension to the main indoor market. Ideas for its future still under discussion but it will start off as mainly a food and drink section. Event poster below this story.

BBC is recruiting for an Antiques Roadshow at Buckfast Abbey on September 13.

Michael Palin will be talking at Appledore Book Festival on September 20.

Early tip – Calstock Arts has booked Graham Fellows, whose career of characters has included Jilted John and John Shuttleworth, reminiscing and performing as himself for once on Sat Nov 24.
