Horrabridge Times had a few days off. What was happening before we did?

Big news of the week was local marine Lee Spencer announcing relaunch of his Transatlantic rowing record attempt, which was cancelled in January, when tides and winds were last right, because his mum was dying.

December 12 is the date for leaving Gibraltar.

Joanna Lumley at Plymouth Pavilions.

NEXT FRIDAY (Nov 2)

The Mercy, the Donald Crowhurst story, starring Colin Firth, showing from 8 pm at Meavy Hall.

NEXT WEEKEND (Nov 3-4)

Horrabridge At War – exhibition organised by local servicemen in parish hall.
