Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt

How do wild animals make their homes? What are they like to live in? Find out by following the trail through the orchard. Also keep your eyes peeled for clues that Bunny has been visiting his friends on a walk around the gorge, a chocolatey treat will be waiting for you at the end.

£3 per trail, normal admission applies

Saturday 6 April, 11am-2pm

Family wild kitchen

Forage for wild garlic then make your own pasta and pesto lunch on the camp fire.

£5 per adult, £3 per child, booking essential, normal admission applies

Monday 8 April, 11.30am-1pm and 1.30-3pm

Launch a bottle rocket

Bring along an empty fizzy pop bottle or borrow one of ours and see how high you can make it fly using just water and air. Normal admission applies.

Thursday 11 April, 10.30am-1.30pm

Bug home making

Construct a home for all sorts of creepy crawlies and tick off one of the 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾.

Make a Lydford pixie door        

Doors for other magical creatures are also encouraged.

Making woodland bunny faces

Create your own bunny face sculpture for your garden or home using local wood and basic hand tools. All materials supplied with full instruction from the ranger team.
